Friday Night Entertainment

Tonight we had a special invite to an artist reception at Noveceto, (the sister hotel) by Ruggero and Giole. Ruggero is the owner of both properties and Giole is his son, both very handsome. Novecento is a stylish boutique hotel tucked away in Calle del Dose whereas Hotel Flora is situated behind St. Mark's square. Hotel Flora, is a seventeenth-century hotel which was once the school of painting frequented by Venetian artists.

We left the artist reception and wandered through the cobblestone streets to find our way to the restaurant that Giovani called ahead for us and reserved our table. It was a quaint restaurant with about ten tables. Dinner was artichoke stuffed tortellini with sheep milk cheese, fresh breads and salad.

On our way we stopped at a window display at some small shop pay particular attention to the details in the accompanied pictures. The balloons are glass, the teeth are glass, the skulls and the dress are wooden. The hair is particularly interesting!!!

The other window was just something I thought to be very beautiful and snapped a few photos of.
